Installation Instructions:
The eyelet bolt can be installed in two locations: into the underside of a wooden doorway or a strong beam in the ceiling. While installing in a doorway is easier, it limits your range of motion. The ceiling installation is preferred for full freedom.
For Doorways:
- Mark the center of the wooden doorway.
- Use a hammer to tap the eyelet bolt into place, ensuring all threads are concealed.
- For easier installation, drill a 5/16 pilot hole first.
For Ceilings:
- Locate a beam using a stud finder.
- Ensure enough clearance from walls or furniture.
- Mark the center of the beam and follow the same installation steps as above.
CAUTION: Once installed, do not remove the eyelet bolt for safety. Ensure to follow the weight guidelines: if the total weight is less than 200 lbs., use the torsion spring; otherwise, assemble without it.
